About the event
This week, dive into forró from a fresh perspective, join us for a special class led by guest instructor Julie Médous. Since discovering forró in 2019, she has pursued intensive training with respected instructors throughout Brazil and Europe. Drawing on her background in circus arts and community projects, she brings a dynamic approach to teaching that combines technique, creativity, and connection, grounded in forró roots.. This class is recommended for those with prior forró experience.
Schedule:
7:00 to 8:00 PM: Forró Special class with Julie.
8:00 to 8:30 PM: Big circle.
8:30 to 10:00 PM: Social dancing.
Location: 115 The Esplanade (Access via back entrance on Market St, off the intersection of Market St and Wilton St). Join us for an enriching evening of forró!
