About the event
Jingle all the way to our Christmas Forró Extravaganza! Embrace the festive spirit and dance the night away at our holly-jolly holiday class. It's going to be snow much fun!
We'll have a special guest, the incredible Baiano, who is a Brazilian percussionist. Baiano will play live while FFA instructors Josy and Viny guide us through the unique rhythms of forró, teaching how to dance to the nuances of baião, xote, and xaxado.
Schedule:
- 7:00 to 8:00: Forró rythims class with Baiano, Vini and Josy.
- 8:00 to 8:30: Big circle. Gather 'round for a circle as grand as Santa's list!
- 8:30 to 10:30: Free dancing. Revel in the festive tunes and dance into the night.
